goldsmith and jewelry designer
Here we meet the founder of Björell - Johanna Björell. She has always had a passion for all things creative and has tried different creative professions. But when she found the profession of goldsmith, Johanna knew she was home. Her goldsmith journey began with a job in a jewelry store, which led to a goldsmith's training in Falköping, which ended with a journeyman certificate in goldsmithing. After school, Johanna worked as an employed goldsmith, while also starting the company Björell.
"My wish is that the jewelry I create will bring as much joy to those who wear it as it brings me during the creation process. I put both passion and care into every detail, and I hope that this is reflected in every piece of jewelry," says Johanna.

Inspiration is everywhere, and for Johanna it is a central part of the design process. Her work is influenced by the organic forms of nature, the structures of architecture and the elegant aesthetics that characterize the Art Deco era. A particularly significant source of inspiration is gemstones – their unique shapes and cuts often serve as a starting point for creating exclusive and timeless jewelry.
