Orders

Orders are placed via email, in-person meetings, or video meetings, as we want to provide every piece of jewelry with the care and attention required to meet your individual needs.

You will receive a quotation by email. Once the quotation has been approved, an order confirmation will be sent to your email address. The confirmation will include all details regarding the product, price, billing address, and delivery address.

If any information in the order confirmation is incorrect, please contact us immediately at johanna@bjorell.com.

Delivery

Our standard delivery time is approximately 6 weeks. The exact delivery date will be specified in the quotation.

If a delay occurs without prior notice of an extended delivery time, please contact us at johanna@bjorell.com.

Prices

All prices are stated in SEK and include 25% VAT.

We reserve the right to adjust prices due to changes from suppliers, typographical errors, or incorrect information.

If Your Ring Size Does Not Fit

Have you ordered a ring in the wrong size? Within 14 days from receiving your ring, we will assist you with minor size adjustments free of charge. This applies to size adjustments of less than 1 mm in circumference.

You are responsible for shipping the ring to us, while we cover the return shipping. Adjustments exceeding 1 mm will incur an additional fee.

Some ring designs are difficult or impossible to resize and may therefore never qualify for free resizing. If you are unsure about your size, please contact us in advance – in some cases, you may be able to try the ring during the production process.

Right of Withdrawal

When purchasing goods from the website, you as a customer have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, starting from the day you receive the item.

There is no right of withdrawal for custom-made jewelry.

Exercising Your Right of Withdrawal

You must notify us of your decision to withdraw by emailing johanna@bjorell.com. Your message must clearly state your name, address, email address, order number, and which items are being returned.

Returned items must be sent without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the withdrawal notice. You are responsible for return shipping, and items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.

We reserve the right to deduct an amount corresponding to any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to determine the product’s nature and characteristics.

The Right of Withdrawal Does Not Apply To:

Custom-made products that are tailored specifically to you or have a clear personal character, such as jewelry made to your size, with your choice of metal, gemstones, or engraving
Services that have been fully performed with your express consent and without the right of withdrawal

Complaints and Claims

All products are inspected prior to shipment. If a product arrives damaged or incorrectly delivered, we undertake to remedy the issue free of charge in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

You must always contact us for approval before returning a defective item. Complaints must be submitted immediately after the defect is discovered.

If we are unable to repair the defect or provide an equivalent replacement, you will be refunded in accordance with applicable consumer legislation. We cover return shipping for approved complaints.

We reserve the right to reject a complaint if it is determined that the product is not defective under applicable consumer law. We follow the guidelines of the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), see arn.se.

Limitation of Liability

We do not accept liability for indirect damages that may arise from the use of the product.

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), including but not limited to labor disputes, fire, war, government decisions, or reduced or failed deliveries from suppliers.

We do not accept responsibility for customers’ own gemstones used in jewelry production, as such stones may contain fractures or treatments that could cause damage during manufacturing.

Product Information

We reserve the right for typographical errors and sold-out products. We do not guarantee that product images accurately reflect the exact appearance of the product, as color variations may occur depending on screen settings, photography, and resolution. We always strive to present products as accurately as possible.

In accordance with applicable electronic communications laws, visitors to this website are informed that cookies are used. Cookies are small text files stored on your device to enable certain website functions and analyze user behavior. You may configure your browser to refuse cookies. Björell is the data controller for the personal data you provide. Your data is processed to manage your order and, where applicable, for newsletters or marketing communications based on your consent.

What Is Personal Data?

Personal data is any information that can directly or indirectly identify a natural person.

What Data Do We Store?

We store your first and last name, address, phone number, email address, IP address, and purchase history to manage orders and customer service inquiries.

Your data is retained as long as there is a legal basis for processing, such as fulfilling a contract or complying with accounting laws.

Personal data is processed to fulfill the contract related to your purchase. Marketing communications are sent only with your consent.

Data Sharing and Purpose

Payment Provider:
When completing a purchase, information is shared with our payment provider, Klarna. Stored data includes name, address, email address, and phone number. If invoice payment is selected, your personal identification number may also be stored by the payment provider. This information is used to process payment and prevent fraud.

Shipping Provider:
To deliver your order, we share your name and address with our shipping provider, PostNord. Email address and/or phone number may also be shared for delivery notifications.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal exceptions (e.g. accounting requirements). Requests for deletion can be sent to johanna@bjorell.com.

Changes to the Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms will be published on the website and are considered accepted in connection with placing an order or visiting the website.

Disputes and Governing Law

If a dispute cannot be resolved through dialogue with our customer service, you may contact the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN), see arn.se. Customers residing in another EU country may also submit complaints via the EU Commission’s online dispute resolution platform.

Any dispute regarding the interpretation or application of these terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Swedish law.
